Why we love it

Anatolia is one of those tucked-away Door County gems that delivers big, beautiful, deeply satisfying meals every time. Founded by a former J-1 student who later returned to share the food of his home region, it brings a wonderful taste of Baku, Azerbaijan—and the wider Anatolian and Middle Eastern culinary tradition—to the peninsula.

The menu is full of comforting, flavorful dishes: crisp falafel, beautifully seasoned kebabs, warm breads, rice, salads, and generous platters made for lingering over or sharing. Portions are huge, so splitting a meal is often the perfect plan—especially if you want to try a few different things.

Whether you settle in for a casual meal or order takeaway to enjoy elsewhere, everything feels freshly made, abundant, and full of care. Anatolia may be a little tucked away, but it is absolutely worth seeking out for a delicious taste of Azerbaijan and beyond.
