Why we love it
We discovered Lake Fire Winery last summer, and it has quickly become a favorite annual girls’ outing. This charming Baileys Harbor spot is Door County’s only waterfront winery, with a fun variety of wines—from dry to sweet—as well as ciders, seltzers, and wine cocktails.
The lakeside patio and lawn overlooking Lake Michigan make it especially inviting, and live music on many Friday evenings adds to the experience. Pair a tasting or flight with light sweets or charcuterie, or bring along a picnic and settle in for a relaxed afternoon by the water.
