Why we love it
Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery & Market has always been one of our family’s favorite Door County stops—especially during cherry-picking season. There is something so satisfying about picking fresh cherries straight from the orchard, bringing them home, and turning them into cherry crumble and jars of cherry jam.
They also know how to make the visit fun for everyone. Be sure to try the cherry pit–spitting contest outside for a little friendly family competition! Inside, the market is filled with nearly every cherry product you can imagine, from bakery treats and preserves to sauces, snacks, and gifts. You can also sample their wines and ciders, then bring home a favorite bottle to enjoy later.
