Why we love it

The New Year’s Eve Cherry Drop in Sister Bay has been such a treasured family tradition for us. We have loved bundling up, gathering with the community, and watching the glowing cherry drop at midnight.

After nine years in Sister Bay, the Cherry Drop is moving to Sturgeon Bay for New Year’s Eve 2026. It is a longer drive for us, so we will be cheering from afar—and hoping Sister Bay creates a new winter tradition for families to enjoy.
